Cancellation & Returns Policy
At CamerasDori, we aim to ensure that every customer is satisfied with their purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, you may request a cancellation, return, refund, replacement, or exchange under the conditions outlined below.
Order Cancellations
Situation 1 - Cancellation Before Dispatch
Orders may be cancelled or modified at any time before dispatch without any cancellation fee.
To request a cancellation or change, please contact us as soon as possible.

If an item change results in a price difference:
- Higher priced item – the price difference must be paid before dispatch
- Lower priced item – the difference will be refunded to the original payment method
Refunds for cancelled orders are processed within 7 business days. Funds will be credited to the original payment method within 7–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
Situation 2 - Cancellation After Dispatch
If an order has already been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled immediately. Customers must receive the order and then follow the Returns & Refunds procedure below.
Returns & Refunds
14-Day Return Period
Customers may request a return within 14 days of receiving the item, in accordance with UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.
The return period begins the day after delivery is confirmed by the courier tracking system.
Return Process
To initiate a return, customers must contact us at info@camerasdori.shop.
Please include:
- Your order number
- The item(s) you wish to return
- The reason for return
Once your return request is approved, we will provide the return address and detailed return instructions via email. Returns sent without prior authorisation will not be accepted.
Return Requirements
To be eligible for a refund or exchange:
- Items must be unused and in original condition
- All original packaging, accessories, manuals, and documentation must be included
- The return must be shipped within 14 days after return approval
Customers must provide a valid tracking number once the return shipment has been sent.
Return Shipping Costs
- If the return is due to change of mind, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- If the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, CamerasDori will cover reasonable return shipping costs or provide return instructions at no cost to the customer.
We strongly recommend using trackable and insured shipping, as CamerasDori is not responsible for items lost during return transit.
Inspection & Restocking Fees
All returned items will be inspected upon arrival.
If the item shows signs of use, handling beyond normal inspection, or missing packaging or accessories, a restocking fee of up to 30% may be deducted from the refund.
Refund Processing
Once the returned item is received and approved, refunds are processed within 7 business days.
Refund Timeline
After processing, funds will be credited to the original payment method within 7–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Shipping Fee Refund Policy
- Standard delivery charges will be refunded if the order is cancelled within the 14-day cooling-off period.
- If expedited or premium shipping was selected, only the standard shipping cost will be refunded.
- Return shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
Exchanges
Customers may request an exchange for another product.
- Higher priced item – customer pays the difference
- Lower priced item – the difference will be refunded
Exchanges are subject to stock availability and limited to one exchange per order.
Non-Returnable Items
Returns may be refused if:
- The item shows clear signs of use
- The product has been modified or customised
- Manufacturer registration has been completed
- Firmware has been altered
