The FX5 bridges the gap between the compact handling of the FX3 and the high-end production features found in the FX6. With a newly developed 16.6MP Exmor RS sensor and BIONZ XR2 processor, internal RAW recording, and 5K Open Gate capture, the FX5 reduces rolling shutter through faster sensor readout, supports Fast Hybrid AF, delivers 15+ stops of dynamic range, and extends recording up to 5K 60p and 4K 120p. Together, these developments bring advanced recording formats to a compact body that’s easier to carry, rig and deploy across a variety of productions.
