The lens structure is comprised of 13 glass elements arranged in 9 groups, including two Aspherical and three ED lenses that help to reduce spherical & chromatic aberrations. It features a rectilinear design that effectively renders scenes with straight vertical lines, and it has a close minimum focus of just 12cm which further increases the versatility and flexibility of this lens.
