The Leica SL2-S takes inspiration from the SL2 body, building on that framework but developing in certain areas. The SL2-S exhibits many features which elevate ease-of-use and overall image quality, including the Maestro III Image Processor and the addition of 5-axis sensor-shift image stabilization which together contribute to the incredible image quality and performance of the camera. Where some differences lay, are with the sensor, its low-light performance, and video capabilities. The SL2-S is equipped with a 24.6MP Full-Frame BSI CMOS Sensor optimized for low-light shooting, offering an expanded ISO range from 50 to 100,000. Video-wise, the SL2-S offers DCI 4K Video with H.264/MOV 4:2:2 10-Bit Recording.
